Long-pile tie-dye faux fur with embroidered faces, thin round or flat faux-suede cords, and catnip inside (the maker has not listed exact materials). Can I choose the styles?

No. The five monsters are assorted and picked by us, so a 6-pack will include at least one repeat.

Are the cord legs okay when I'm not home?

No. A cat can chew the cords off, so they are for play while you are watching. Put the monster away afterwards and retire it if a cord comes loose.

Does the fur shed?

The long faux fur can shed a few fibers. Give each monster a gentle shake before play and retire any that start to look thin.

My cat ignores catnip. Will she still play with these?

Not every cat reacts to catnip, and kittens under about 6 months often don't yet. Many still love to bat the dangly legs and pounce on the fluffy body.
