Ingredients & safety

Two layers of EVA foam: a top layer perforated with honeycomb holes over a bottom layer, with bound edges. It helps trap scattered litter, but some grains will still travel, especially on fluffy paws. Care: empty the pocket every few days, shake out or vacuum the surface, and rinse with water when needed; let it dry fully before putting it back. The mat ships folded, so lay it flat with something heavy on the creases for a day or two. Check the edges now and then and replace the mat if your cat chews it.

Catch the litter before it travels

Litter clings to paws and gets kicked over the edge, then ends up across the floor. This double-layer mat lets scattered grains drop through honeycomb holes into a pocket you pour back into the box.

Honeycomb top layer

The top layer is covered in honeycomb holes, so litter from paws and kicked-out grains can drop through instead of sitting on the surface.

Hidden pocket between layers

Grains that fall through collect in the pocket between the two foam layers, out of the way until you empty them.

Pour litter back in

Open the pocket, tip the mat over the litter box and pour the caught litter back in. The supplier lists tofu, clay, mixed and mineral litters as suitable.

Light washable EVA foam

Each mat weighs 175 to 350 g (6 to 12 oz) depending on size, so it is easy to lift, shake out and rinse.

Place at exit

Lay the mat flat where your cat steps out of the litter box, with as much of it as possible in front of the exit.

Let litter drop

As your cat walks across it, grains fall through the honeycomb holes into the pocket below.

Pour it back

Every few days, open the pocket, tip the caught litter back into the box and give the mat a shake.

Which size should I choose?

Measure your litter box and choose a mat that reaches well past the side your cat steps out of. Medium is 24 x 18 in, Large is 30 x 22 in and X-Large is 35 x 24 in; more room in front of the exit catches more scatter.

Will it catch every bit of litter?

No mat catches every grain. The honeycomb holes help trap scattered litter, but fine grains on fluffy paws can still travel a little.

How do I empty and clean it?

Open the pocket and tip the caught litter back into the box every few days. Shake out or vacuum the surface, rinse with water when needed, and let it dry fully before use.

It arrived folded. What should I do?

The mat ships folded to keep the parcel small. Lay it flat with something heavy, like a bag of litter, on the creases for a day or two.
