Ingredients & safety

Handmade crochet yarn hat and collar with yarn ties, small yarn pom-poms, a crocheted star and sewn-on patches (Santa face, tiny trees or gingerbread man); the Santa collar's tree patches have tiny beads and the elf hat has a faux pearl at the star center. This is a dress-up and photo accessory for short, supervised wear: stay with your cat while it is on and take it off for sleep, solo play and time outdoors. It is decorative, not for a leash or ID tag. Pom-poms, beads, buttons and sewn-on patches are small parts that can come loose, so check both pieces before each use and remove them if your cat chews or paws at them. Spot clean only.

The set is one size: the hat suits cats up to 22 lb and the collar suits about 4 to 22 lb.

Tie both loosely

Set the hat between the ears, never over the eyes or ears, and tie the chin ties loosely. Tie the collar at the back; two fingers should slide under each tie.

Snap and remove

Take your photos with a treat ready, then untie both pieces. Never leave them on when you step away.

What comes in the set, and is it one size?

You get one hat and one matching collar in the style you pick. Both are one size. If your cat is very small, email support@litterbond.com first.

My cat hates hats. Will this work?

Some cats never warm up to costumes. Try a few seconds at a time with treats, keep everything loose, and stop if your cat shakes its head, paws at it or freezes.

Can my cat wear it unsupervised?

No. It is a costume set. Take both pieces off after the photos and before your cat sleeps, plays alone or goes outside.

Will it arrive in time for Christmas?

We can't promise delivery by a specific date, because transit time depends on your address. Order as early as you can; it works just as well for winter photos.
