ABS plastic fountain. Filter layers: high-density microporous filter cotton, ion-exchange resin with coconut-shell activated carbon, and filter cotton. USB-powered pump (5 V, 0.325 W) with low-water auto shut-off. Unplug before cleaning and keep the cord out of reach of chewing cats. Clean and refill the fountain regularly, change the filter as needed, and don't let it run dry. Dishwasher use is not confirmed. USB wall adapter not included.

Fountain in 3 Steps

Fill the base

If your fountain came with a filter, slot it into the lid, then fill the base with fresh water and set the lid back on top.

Plug it in

Connect the USB cord to a USB power source and run the cord where your cat can't reach or chew it.

Let it flow

Water pours from the straw into the tray and drains back through the filter. Top up when the level window runs low.

Is it noisy?

The maker rates the pump at around 40 dB. The main sound is water pouring from the straw into the tray.

My cat won't drink from it. What can I do?

Give it time. Set it near your cat's usual water spot, keep the old bowl out for a few days, and let your cat watch and sniff the stream at its own pace.

How often should I change the filter?

The maker doesn't give a fixed interval, so change it as needed, sooner if it looks discolored or the stream slows. The + 3 Filters options include three spare cartridges.

How do I clean it?

Unplug it first. The base, lid and filter come apart for rinsing in the sink; aim for a full clean about once a week.
