Soft yarn pom-pom balls (fiber not specified), with no catnip, bells or attachments. Supervise play and store the toys out of reach afterwards. Check toys regularly and throw away any that are torn or have loose parts. Throw away any ball that starts to fray or shed yarn, since cats may swallow loose fibers.
