Hand-crocheted yarn hat with a fluffy brushed-yarn trim, yarn pom-pom and yarn chin ties, plus a ribbed knit scarf with a crocheted Santa face applique and small bead eyes. Tie the hat loosely

Rest the hat on the head so it never covers the eyes or blocks the ears, and tie the thin yarn ties under the chin, loose enough for two fingers.

Add the scarf

Set the scarf loosely around the neck, again with room for two fingers. Take your photos, then remove both pieces. Never leave them on when you step away.
