Ingredients & safety

Small round beret in a brushed wool-felt style fabric, with a short stem tab on the crown and, on some colors, a thin elastic cord with a small toggle. This is a dress-up and photo accessory for short, supervised wear: stay with your cat while it is on and take it off for sleep, solo play and time outdoors. The thin elastic cord, toggle and stem tab are small parts, so check the beret before each use and remove it if your cat chews or paws at it. Set it loosely and never let it cover the eyes or ears. Spot clean.

Set it on loosely

Place the beret on top of the head and, if there is a cord, loop it loosely under the chin. Keep it clear of the eyes and ears and loose enough for two fingers to slide underneath.

Snap and remove

Take a few pictures with a treat ready, then take the beret off. Never leave it on when you leave the room.

My cat hates hats. Will this work?

Some cats never accept a hat. Try a few seconds at a time with treats, keep the cord loose, and stop if your cat shakes it off, paws at it or freezes.

Can my cat wear it unsupervised?

No. It is a costume piece, so take it off before your cat sleeps, plays alone or goes outside.

Can my cat wear it all day?

No. It is made for supervised photo sessions only. Put it on for a few pictures, enjoy the look, then take it off and put it away.
