Three push-fit parts: a slim rigid handle with a cat-ear knob, a middle connector tube and a long, thin, flexible tail. Supervised play only: the thin tail can be bitten off and swallowed, so put the wand away after play, out of your cat's reach. Check the tail regularly and throw away any tail that is worn, nicked or torn. Keep the rigid handle away from your cat's eyes during play.

Plug the tail

Push the plug end of the tail firmly into the middle tube.

Join the handle

Fit the middle tube onto the handle until it sits snugly.

Swish and play

Swish the wand low so the tail wiggles across the floor, and let your cat catch it now and then. Put it away when play ends.

Can I leave it out for my cat?

No. The tail is thin enough to bite through, so use the wand only while you play together and store it out of reach afterwards.

What if the tail gets chewed?

Retire any tail that is nicked, torn or shorter than before. Grip it and pull firmly to take it out of the tube, throw it away, and push in the spare tail from the box.

Is the handle bendy or stiff?

The handle is a slim, rigid tube, so the flexible tail does all the wiggling. Keep it low and away from your cat's face during play.

My cat ignores wand toys. Any tips?

Move it like prey: drag the tail slowly away from your cat, pause, then flick it out of sight around a corner or under a blanket. Short, frequent sessions often hold interest longer than one long one.
