Ingredients & safety

Smoothing leave-in formula with vitamin E and silk protein. Contains citronella, cinnamon and tea tree oils. Cats are sensitive to essential oils and strong scents; use sparingly in a ventilated room and stop if your cat shows any irritation. My cat hates being sprayed. How do I use it?

You never need to spray your cat directly. If even the sound of the sprayer startles your cat, mist the brush in another room, then come back and groom as usual.

Will it work on tight mats close to the skin?

It helps loosen knots and small tangles. Tight, felted mats against the skin are uncomfortable to comb out, so have those removed by a professional groomer rather than pulling at them.

Does it have a strong scent?

It is not unscented: it contains citronella, cinnamon and tea tree oils. Keep use light, groom in a well-aired room and stop if your cat sneezes, drools or seems bothered.

Will it leave my cat's coat sticky?

It is a light leave-in that brushes through without a heavy feel. If the fur looks damp, you used too much; a light mist on the brush for each section is plenty.
