A rattling octopus to swat and chase

Many cats walk right past a toy that just lies there. This octopus rattles, carries catnip in its head and trails long yarn tentacles, so there is always something moving to swat.
5 reasons to love LitterBond Catnip Yarn Octopuses
Rattle in the head
A rattle box sits inside the stuffed head, so bats and tosses come with a sound.
Catnip-filled head
Catnip is packed in with the fiber fill, giving your cat a scent to sniff and rub.
Long swishy tentacles
About 5.9 in (15 cm) of loose yarn strands trail below the head and swish with every swat.
Hang it for play
The elastic loop on top lets you hang the octopus for bouncy play while you are home.

Hang or toss
Hang it by the loop at cat height while you are home, or toss it across the floor.
Let them swat
Let your cat bat the tentacles, grab the head and carry it off, and stay close while she plays.
Rotate and reseal
Take the octopus down after play and keep the extras in a sealed bag until it is their turn.

Questions cat parents ask

Don't see yours? Send it to us through the contact page.

Can I choose the styles?
No, the pack is an assorted mix of pink, green and orange picked by us. With three colors, a 6-pack includes repeats.
Can I leave it hanging when I go out?
No. The elastic loop and yarn are for play while you are home, so take the octopus down and put it away when you leave.
What if the yarn comes loose?
Snip off the loose strand or retire the toy. Never leave loose yarn where your cat can chew and swallow it.
My cat ignores catnip. Will she still play with these?
Not every cat reacts to catnip; many still love the chase. The rattle and swishy yarn give her plenty to swat.
