Ingredients & safety

Short-pile fleece, boucle and velvet-style plush with felt arms (mandarin), catnip filling and a natural silvervine twig stem. Supervise play and store the toys out of reach afterwards. Check toys regularly and throw away any that are torn or have loose parts. Replace the stick when it splinters or gets small.

Size & materials
The apple is about 2.4 in (6 cm) across, the persimmon about 2.8 in (7 cm) wide and the mandarin about 4.3 in (11 cm) wide with its arms, plus the stick on top; each weighs about 15-17 g. Plush and felt only, with no bell, squeaker or crinkle.

Can I choose the styles?

No, we pick the mix of apple, mandarin and persimmon for each pack. A 6-pack includes repeats, since there are three designs.

Is the silvervine stem OK to chew?

Your cat can gnaw it during supervised play, but the stem is natural wood and can splinter. Check it after each session and retire the fruit once the stem is chewed down.

My cat ignores catnip. Will she still play with these?

She may. Some catnip-shy cats respond to silvervine, and many cats bat small toys just for the chase. Not every cat reacts to either scent.

Are these OK for kittens?

Kittens under about six months often ignore catnip and silvervine, though they may still bat the fruit around. Keep an eye on small parts like the apple's pompom and the mandarin's felt arms.
