Ingredients & safety
Plastic handle, head and push plate with a row of curved metal blades (the supplier does not state the materials). The blades have sharpened inner edges that cut into tangles: work slowly in small sections, hold the skin flat, keep the head flat and never pull or press into the skin. Stop if your cat struggles, and for large or tight mats see a groomer. Use it now and then alongside a regular brush rather than every day. Keep fingers clear of the blade edges, keep the comb away from children and store it out of pets' reach.

Lift loose undercoat, then push it off

Shedding season leaves tufts on every sofa, and picking fur out of a rake is half the chore. Curved blades lift loose undercoat, then one push of the slider slides the fur off.
LitterBond Deshedding Comb - 5 reasons to love it
Push-button fur release
Slide the thumb button forward and a full-width plate pushes the collected fur off the blades in one clump, so there is no picking fur out by hand.
Wide row of curved blades
An 88 mm (3.5 in) head carries a row of curved, hooked blades that lift loose undercoat and work into small tangles as you stroke with the growth.
Head angled at 26 degrees
The blade head is tilted at 26 degrees, so it sits along the coat while you hold the handle at a comfortable angle.
Curved easy-grip handle
The 17 cm (6.7 in) handle curves into your palm, the whole comb weighs about 4 oz, and a hole at the end lets you hang it up.

Questions cat parents ask

Don't see yours? Send it to us through the contact page.

Will it get through large mats?
It is made for loose undercoat and small tangles. Large or tight mats close to the skin are a job for a groomer.
How does the fur release work?
Push the button on the handle forward and a plate slides out through the blades, pushing the collected fur off in one clump. Pull it back and the plate retracts.
Can the blades hurt my cat?
The blades have sharpened inner edges to cut into tangles, so go slowly, keep the head flat and never tug at the skin. Stop if your cat struggles.
How often should I use it?
Use it now and then during heavy shedding, with a regular brush on other days. Using a blade comb too often can thin the coat.
