Ingredients & safety
ABS plastic float with a raised outer ring, a shallow center cup and small inlet holes around the base; no power or batteries. This is a small item, about 4.7 cm (1.9 in) across: supervise at first and remove it if your cat chews it or bats it out of the bowl. Use it only in a bowl deep enough for it to float. Snacks left in the cup spoil in water, so remove leftovers and rinse daily. Dishwasher use is not confirmed; rinse by hand.
What's in the box
1 floating ring, or 2 in the Pink + Green set; bowl not included

A tiny float for curious sippers

Some cats paw at the water bowl, sniff and walk away, while floating hair collects on top. This little ring floats in the bowl you already own and gives your cat its own center cup to sip from.
LitterBond Floating Water Bowl Ring - 5 reasons to love it
Floats in your own bowl
No plug, no pump and no setup. Drop it into any water bowl deep enough for it to float, from tilted bowls and double bowls to wide plates.
Center cup refills from below
Small holes around the base let bowl water seep up into the center cup, so the cup keeps refilling as your cat drinks.
Raised ring holds back hair
The rounded outer ring sits above the waterline and helps keep floating hair and dust away from the drinking spot.
Room for a lickable snack
Squeeze in a little lickable snack or drop a few freeze-dried bites into the cup to spark interest, then clear away any leftovers the same day.

Questions cat parents ask

Don't see yours? Send it to us through the contact page.

Will my cat actually use it?
Every cat is different. The little floating cup invites curious sips, and a dab of a lickable snack in the center can spark interest. It has no motor, so it only drifts when the water or a paw nudges it.
Which bowls does it work with?
Any water bowl deep enough for it to float, including tilted bowls, double bowls and wide plates. Keep the bowl topped up so the ring never sits on the bottom.
How do I keep it clean?
Rinse it under running water; it only takes a few seconds. Do this daily, and right away if you added a snack, since food spoils in water.
What if my cat chews it or bats it out?
Take it away. It is a small item, so keep an eye on things for the first few days and stop using it if your cat chews on it or keeps fishing it out of the bowl.
