A fluffy chick that hops on its own

Toys that just lie on the floor get ignored. Wind one of these fluffy chicks and it hops and walks by itself, giving your cat a small moving target to watch, stalk and pounce on while you play together.
5 reasons to love LitterBond Fluffy Wind-Up Chicks
Clockwork hops, no batteries
Turn the small key on the side and the chick hops and walks across the floor. It is clockwork, so there are no batteries to buy or change.
Short rounds, wind again
Each wind gives a short run of hopping, which suits quick stalk-and-pounce rounds. Wind it again whenever your cat wants another go.
Soft, fluffy pastel fur
Every chick wears a fluffy coat in pink, sky blue, lime green, lemon yellow or beige. Colors and key styles are mixed at random.
Pairs mean spares
Chicks come in pairs, 6 or 12 per pack, so you can rotate them and keep a spare ready if one stops winding.

Chick Play in 3 Steps

Chick Play in 3 Steps: how to play with LitterBond Fluffy Wind-Up Chicks
Wind the key
Hold the chick and turn the key a few times. Stop when it resists rather than forcing it.
Watch it hop
Set it down on a hard, flat floor, where it moves the most, and let your cat watch, stalk and pounce while you stay close.
Put them away
When play ends, put the chicks somewhere your cat can't reach. They are not toys to leave out for solo play.

Questions cat parents ask

Don't see yours? Send it to us through the contact page.

Can I choose the styles?
No. Chicks come in pairs, and the store picks the colors at random from pink, sky blue, lime green, lemon yellow and beige; key styles vary too. A 3-pair pack holds 6 chicks and a 6-pair pack holds 12.
Can my cat play with the chicks alone?
No. The plastic feet and key are small parts, so these are for play while you watch. Put the chicks away after each session and throw out any with a loose foot or key.
What if a chick stops working?
Wind gently and stop when the key resists, since forcing it can strain the clockwork. If a chick still won't move, retire it and use a spare, and get in touch with us if one arrives not working.
What if my cat is scared of it?
Some cats are wary of a toy that moves on its own. Start with the chick a few feet away, let your cat watch, and keep sessions short until curiosity takes over.
