Ingredients & safety

Do not drag the comb through a tight mat; loosen it gradually, and see a groomer for large or tight mats. Wipe the handle clean and keep it dry. Not a chew toy; store it away from pets.

A classic comb for short and long coats

Plenty of cats dodge the brush, and shed fur ends up everywhere. These steel-pin combs on a solid wood handle lift loose hair and work through small tangles, with a pin style for short, long or dense coats.
LitterBond Wooden Handle Steel Comb - 5 reasons to love it
Solid wood round handle
The round wooden handle has a warm walnut-brown finish and holds like a thick pencil.
Steel pins with rounded tips
Bright stainless-steel pins are stiff yet springy, keep their shape with regular use, and end in rounded tips.
Three pin styles
Fine Tooth has 78 pins for short coats, Wide Tooth has 29 for long-hair tangles, and Long & Short Tooth has 62 for loose undercoat.
Loose hair slides off
Hair gathers on the pins and slides off with a pinch, so cleanup between strokes is quick.

Comb-Out in 3 Steps

LitterBond Wooden Handle Steel Comb - how to use in 3 steps
Loosen with fingers
Tease small tangles apart with your fingers first so the comb never drags through a knot.
Comb gently through
Comb in the direction of hair growth with light pressure, one section at a time.
Slide hair off
Pinch the gathered hair and slide it off the pins, then move on to the next section.

Don't see yours? Send it to us through the contact page.

Which comb style should I choose?
Choose Fine Tooth for short coats and debris, Wide Tooth for tangles in long coats, and Long & Short Tooth for loose undercoat, since its mixed pins do a bit of both. The Set of 3 Combs covers multi-cat homes and changing coats.
How big is each comb?
About 19.7 cm (7.8 in) end to end, with a 7.6 cm (3.0 in) row of pins. Each one weighs under 1 oz.
Will it get through mats?
It handles small tangles. Loosen knots with your fingers first, and leave large or tight mats to a groomer.
My cat hates being brushed. Is a comb any different?
Some cats that dislike brushes accept a slim comb better. Start with a few slow strokes on the back, then stop while your cat is still happy.
